 Local bands who are prepared to work with clever young engineers in training  can get the great sound of The Lodge for just £10 PER HOUR

Both Jason and Ben are first and foremost fine musicians. They know they are not launching the space shuttle. Instead they will be aiming to get the best possible performance out of you.

All sessions are supervised and overseen by experienced senior staff.

Results are guaranteed to our highest technical standard. You will not come out of the studio with anything other than a first class recording.
 
TRAINING SESSIONS– (GUINEA PIG RATE)

We have a limited amount time available at £100 per day. This is in order to enable our young engineers in training to get hands-on experience under close supervision and gain in confidence and responsibility for the outcome of sessions.

Training sessions usually take place once a week on depending on the studio diary commitments.


Restrictions and Conditions

Because these are training sessions, The Lodge must have an absolute discretion with regard to suitability. All bands wishing to have this service will have to visit The lodge and meet the owners for a chat prior to confirming a booking.

Only local bands are eligible.

A training session cannot normally consist of more than one day at a time.

Training sessions do not take place at weekends.

A training session cannot be booked more than two weeks in advance (because training sessions are not planned beyond two weeks ahead).

Training sessions are only suitable for local bands requiring a good demo and for gaining recording experience.

These bookings need to be booked in the first instance by phone followed up by a visit to The Lodge.

It is not possible to provisionally book (pencil) or hold training sessions. They need to be booked and confirmed and a deposit paid in one go.
