The Rules:
Plug n Play sessions are there to provide young bands on a tight budget with
all the most important facilities of The Lodge at a rate they can easily
afford. The band must be based within the Northants/Milton Keynes area.
These sessions are conducted in a live recording format. Sessions begin at
the time booked. Six hours means six hours and there are usually no
opportunities for overtime on these sessions.
You must in good faith intend to complete your tracks within the session and
our advice is not to try and do too much. You cannot book multiple plug n
play sessions to finish off work on the same songs/material/tracks at a
later date.
Equipment:
You are expected to use the Drum Kit and Gtr Amps provided which will be sound checked and ready for you on arrival.
You may only bring your own equipment if The Lodge is not able to provide a reasonable alternative. (Small combo amps and amp heads are OK.)
Mixing:
Overdubs and repairs are permitted provided there is time but there are no opportunities on Plug N Play sessions for digital editing/ vocal tuning or automated mixes. The mix will be taking shape as the tracks get done.
