Both Jason and Ben are first and foremost fine musicians. They know they are not launching the space shuttle. Instead they will be aiming to get the best possible performance out of you.
All sessions are supervised and overseen by experienced senior staff.
Results are guaranteed to our highest technical standard. You will not come out of the studio with anything other than a first class recording.
And even if they do, most record deals or short-termist and end in tears and failure after a short period of limited success.
The Lodge has launched the Band Therapy label primarily to address this problem. It should be seen as more of a research and development nursery label along the lines of that established by EMI during the sixties.
We want to assist the regions most talented and deserving bands who are both cool and unsigned. To make brilliant recordings for them and help them organise their gigs and their fans. (Fans are crucial.) To prove to the music industry that talent and individuality actually works.
Currently working with The Operatives, our aim is to make a band like this famous and valuable. Then, maybe, to get the right recording contract for them on terms which are more likely to afford them a long and creative career.
Their first album is nearing completion and will be "in circulation" in time for Christmas.
