Robin Billingham

Robin Billingham has recently joined The Lodge, bringing various new skills to the business. This experienced engineer previously ran Northampton's "Hot Rock Studio" . Robin specialises in recording rock and metal and has extensive experience in numerous aspects of these genres.

Having spent many years as a touring musician, he has gigged with bands such as Bullet for my Valentine, Breed 77, Skindred and TerrorVision. He also has a background in booking and promoting tours, with considerable success securing national radio, magazine and TV coverage for bands and musicians. Robin has song writing experience in many genres, and uses his expertise to assist bands in getting the best result possible from the time spent recording with him. He utilizes his skills in production, promotion and booking to help the bands he works with gain recognition and direction for their recordings.

Robin is a qualified filmmaker and has created music videos that have been aired on Sky TV. He specialises in directing, production and camerawork and as a record producer recognises the importance of the video representing and connecting with the music. Robin is therefore responsible for running all aspects of the the video production services now offered at The Lodge. 

Jason Ducker

Beginning his experience as an engineer in 2001, Jason has spent the last decade learning all there is to know about the trade. Taught the ropes by Abbey Roads Robert John Godfrey, his perfectionism gives promise for the best mix achievable in the time allocated. 

Jason has also worked with top producers Vic Cooper-Smith-Heaven and Max Heyes, and his audio production for international Symphonic Rock sensation The Enid means his work is enjoyed globally.

As a fellow musician, Jason takes an interest in all music, exhuding enthusiasm at every stage of the recording process. 

Max Read

Max Read - Engineer at The Lodge Recording Studio

Max has worked as an engineer at The Lodge since 1992. With an bucket load of experience, Max has worked with artists of all genres, from Pop to Classical. 

Clients include Zodiac Mindwarp, The Moons, and EMA nominees The Arbitors. As well as audio work for corporations such as Audi, and surround sound for SEGA video games, Max has engineered audio for cartoon The Simpsons, including Northampton born writer-poet Alan Moore's (Watchmen/V for Vendetta/From Hell) appearance.

His professionalism extends beyond the studio environment, engineering all technical aspects for globally touring band, The Enid.
